Touch not the cat bot a glove
Hi. I'm looking for a little help here. I will be getting married to a McPherson on Thursday next. My husband to be would love to have a Scottish verse read at our wedding. He has explained to me that the family motto is "Touch not the cat bot a glove". He has also said that years ago he actually heard an extended version of the motto, like a verse or peom and he would love to have this read at the wedding. Has anyone any idea of this verse and where I might find it. I have spent endless hours on google and can't seem to find it. It would mean so much to him if we had it as his dad is flying all the way from Australia to Ireland for the wedding and he would really like his dad to read it. He likes to keep the scottish blood running in the family
