I'd have to say "Maple Leaf" -- the tartan in my only tartan kilt so far. I purchased it from Steve to commemorate attaining Canadian citizenship last year.

I see our local Jo-Anne's has all the provincial and territorial tartans, as well as several regimentals in their stock of tartan wool. Unfortunately, it's all far too light to make a kilt. Drat the luck...I was thinking of the X-Kilt.

Not the official Canadian tartan? I say we rise up as Canadians with righteous indignation and have a letter-writing campaign!

It was my first tartan kilt too. As long as Mr. Harper doesn't prorogue yet again it might just make it this time...

It was designed in 1964, it's long about time it were made official after 46 years, then perhaps after 43 years the other Maple Leafs might be recognized by Lord Stanley.
