    Dead Critter Pelts

I'm off to the Fur auction at the end of May and to buy pelts I needed to aquire a Fur Dealers Licence (which I now have and it's kind of a PTA as I now have to fill out and send in monthly reports regardless of activity), so I was thinking rather than just buying a few pelts for myself would anyone here be interested in having me buy pelts for them.

And no Steve this is NOT a business venture.......

The pelts would come to you tanned and ready for that full mask sporran you've always wanted.

If your interested send me a PM, what / how many and I will try to give you some idea of price.

    Cheers,
    Ken

If I may, perhaps you might give us an idea of what types of things turn up and, if possible, about how much (ballpark) we're looking at per critter? Not to try to get nosey about how much you're spending but it might help those of us who are paying mortgages and kids' tuition figger out if we can afford it out of our kilt-fund money.

Thanks for the interest, all spiecie are usually available but to give you a sampling I've picked a few that I think most would be interested in.

    Badger - $100.
    'coon - $75.
    Beaver - $125. -140.
    Skunk - 45.
    Lynx - 350. +
    Red Fox -100. +
    Timber Wolf - $300. +
    Polar Bear - $5000. +
    Seal - no price yet

I had an inquiry for hair on Deer but since I don't hunt any more I don't have that but could likely supply Elk and Bison, not sure about hair on but could look into it if requested. I don't have a price for the Elk and Bison but will get it when requested and the price would be per square foot.
