The Tartan Weaver's Guide
A friend of ours, who is a spinner and a weaver, loaned me The Tartan Weaver's Guide, by James D. Scarlett. As you can see by the photos, it is not a very large book. However, the author has included in this small package, the listing of 228 thread counts, color photographs of 142 Tartans, and historical notes.

While I am not a weaver, I found the book to be an interesting and easy read. I intend to add it to my library.
If you have an interest in weaving, or just want to learn more about tartan, I would recommend this book.
