Enter The Haggis, Columbia, 4/20
I just spotted this last night, so don't have definite plans.
It seems that ETH is playing at the White Mule, 1530 Main ST, Columbia; with Caravan of Thieves. Tuesday 20 April, doors open at 6, music at 7.
$8 in advance, $10 at the door. I have not been to the club, but I understand it's small, a good listening venue.

After action report
Well I made it, and there was one kilt in attendance. We wouldn't want them to think that SC had none at all.
Enter The Haggis had not been to Columbia before now. This was an added stop, which explains why I did not hear of it until the weekend. I hope that it worked out for the house, it was a nice evening for a small but quality audience. As expected, the room was a little small for them by the end of the set. These guys use plenty of bass guitar.
They are touring with a string band called Caravan of Thieves, whose self description is Gypsy Swinging Serenading Fire-eating Circus Freaks. I quite enjoyed them as well.
And the room was very nice, modulo some very electric numbers from ETH.
Note to the NC contingent: the bands will be in Charlotte, Raleigh, Asheville the next 3 nights.
