X-Kilts 1,2, & 3
Here's X-Kilts number 1, 2, & 3.
I did the smallest first then the middle sized, and finally the very large one.
Digital ACU for the boys and Digital Mar Pat for mine (they were out of ACU at that point).

I'll put the Ross Hunting in show us your Kilt section.

That's great!!! Very cool. I have been wanting to make an X-kilt but I'm intimidated by the sewing. Good job!

I didn't realize you'd made them. they're great looking kilts, and the lads make them look especially fine.

Not sure why the pics in this are small while the pic in the Ross Hunting thread is of good size? Same camera, same settings, within a few minutes of each other. Oh well I guess at least it worked.
I had a lot of fun making the three X-Kilts. It was a bit intimidating at first, got better as it went. Alan's instructing are really good. And it helped that my wife has two sewing machines and the knowlegde, skills and abilities to go with them. She did most of the sewing on the first one I have to say then I did it all on the second two. In reallity I think I had a wee bit more fun than she did!
Don't be too intimidated FinsUp, If I can do it anyone can!!!
I'm about ready now to start one more out of the Mar Pat cammo, this time I'm going for the knife pleats.
Maybe I should post a close up of the sporrans. All three are home made as well.

Nice job!
You'll find that the knife pleats are easy to work with. The instructions for the Rev-K are excellent.
