Maine Highland Games

This years Highland Games will be on August 21st. Location has moved from Brunswick to Topsham Fair grounds, which is a much larger venue this year. Just throwing it out there so people can be sure and mark the calenders. I'd love the chance to see some of our kilted brethren from the forum if the chance presents itself. Maybe we can all go for coffee or a pint after things are wrapped up.

Honestly last year is what got me hooked on the kilt. Walking around for 4 hours in that humid heat and being so comfy in my kilt marked the end of my pants wearing days. was not more then a week later that I was a full time kilt wearer.


This year as I'm actually competing I too hope it will be a lil less warm. Heat stroke is nothing to mess around with. If your down around the athletic events and you get a chance to flag me down I'll be the one with "Smith" on my back lol. Would love to meet any and all xmarkers in the area for the games.
