Got meeself some nice brown brogues

I really like those! I just bought a pair of brown brogues about 7 months ago, but I've been trying not to talk myself into getting another pair to rotate with the ones I already wear 2-3 times a week. Thanks a lot... you just destroyed my resolve!

And my own resolve too... I like them so much I just bought another pair of the same in Black. I already have a pair of black brogues mind, I just like these better.

Hi Tom.
It's upset a few heli-flights when the Civil Aviation Authority have stepped in with a blanket ban but the ash-cloud is at about 20,000ft and the helicopters that serve our installations fly at between 500 and 3,000ft so they are a long way under it.

I saw the cloud the other morning. I was up early before dawn as it was guzzomee day. As the sun came up, a vivid orange strip of cloud could be seen off to the North West of us. It was only obvious for about 20mins until the sun rose above it and then it disappeared. It was spectacular while it lasted though.
