I think HRH and the Duchess both look very smart. My wife chooses to wear whatever she wants when she accompanies me whilst I wear my Highland attire. She will wear her Lochcarron wosted wool sash at certain events, usually formal, though. She has the same style of sash with straight fringe in every Macpherson tartan Lochcarron produces. She also has every Robertson of Struan variation as well, as she is a Robertson by blood. She loves to coordinate tartan with me whilst I am in the kilt, but by no means do we deliberately attempt to do so all the time-it's ulitmately up to her and to which tartan sash she wants to wear. Sometimes its a Robertson ancient with my Macpherson hunting modern! It doesnt matter! It's all about personal taste and preference at the given time. All I know is that she is the most beautiful and lovely lass in the world and her being by my side is all I care about!
