There has to be a Traditional Scottish Cane Dancing Society somewhere...you can look it up...give me a minute to start one though...
And hey...I used to date a lady from Vancouver, WA....lost track of her...lovely lass...

Actually, Ron, I coppiced a mesquite tree on my property this year, and I think one of the trunks will make a good cromach of some sort.
Fuddy duddies also like and admire finely carved canes and cromach.
Unfortunately, the cane I am required to use for mobility is the standard wight one, and there isn't much room for carving and ornamentation. It does, however, either fold up or telescope for when one is dancing, for example.
