Exactly. I've interviewed a few U.S. Senators and a few NY Governors, but I've never met a POTUS.
In Canada, years ago, I almost got run over by Prince Andrew & Fergie's motorcade.

Unlucky, but I'm sure you'll have the chance another time. Hopefully you might even get an invite to the big house!
I've met quite a few senior politicians, including Alex Salmond, First Minister of Scotland. I'm even friends with a few, but sadly I don't think Alex would have time for many social occasions considering his important role! Not that the politicians I do know don't have important role or anything...!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Keith, just keep an eye on the news for the next big White House dinner, I hear they are pretty easy to get in to!
I've sort of met two US Presidents, I say 'sort of' because one was George W. Bush while he was the Governor of Texas, so not the President yet. And I met his daddy, George H.W. Bush, after he wasn't President anymore. Sorry to say I didn't have a camera either time!

Oh well maybe next time.
Were you far from home at any time? I would think a co-worker might call you and say "Hey, the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES is coming by tomorrow ......"
