    Helping out the wife

My bride has been a Girl Scout Leader for some 35 years now. This year at their "Thinking Day" event her Troop's presentation was on Scotland. Needless to say, I was pressed into service.

Not sure who the guy behind me is. He resisted all of my efforts at conversation

    I guess he was board.

I like your dress, though sir. It looks like you took extra pains to find a sporran that reasonalby closely matches your beard. I'm impressed! It's a good look.

I'd never noticed that before about the sporran, but you're right. Although that may say something bizarre about my ancestry.
That sporran's a bit of an oddity. My wife and I are reenactors. A couple we know was getting out of the hobby, and gave us a bunch of stuff to get rid of for them. Among the items was a kangaroo hide. I thought on that for a bit, and decided that there was no more natural use for a kangaroo hide than to make a pouch. The cantle is from SWK. Always get some strange looks when people find out "what kind of fur is that?"

    Fantastic! Very well put together!
