Who makes camouflage kilts?
Folks,
I'm a Department of Defense (DOD) civilian and it looks like I might deployed back to Iraq or, more likely to Afghanistan in the near future.
I decided I should take a kilt with me this time.
Since I'll be in a combat zone I want to have a casual 5-yard kilt in either the old three-tone desert camouflage pattern if I go to Iraq, or the old woodland camouflage pattern if I go to Afghanistan. These are the old camouflage patterns, not the new digital patterns (though I like the USMC versions).
Any recommendations on who I should go to to have one (or both) made?

I carry in stock the following;
Old style Woodland (US Army '70's-90's version)
Tiger Stripe (1968 version)
6 Color Desert (Desert Storm)
3 Color Desert (late and post Desert Storm)
Marpat (USMC) Temperate (Woodland) (MilSpec)
Marpat (USMC) Arid (Desert) (MilSpec)
CadPat Temperate (MilSpec)
ACU Digital (US Army)(MilSpec)
MultiCam (Non-MilSpec & MilSpec 2nd's)
And of course Pink Death
I also have 1 Kilt's worth of ABU digital (USAF)
Here is one I made on duty about 26 miles SE of Bagdad.
(Sorry. I had to delete this photo. It included a weapon that could be taken as a violation of our Rule #11.) If anyone wants to see it you can PM me.

Not sure if this is the same CADPAT that Steve still has. I loved this camo since it blended in so well with the terrain here in the canyonlands. I outgrew it and it now lives in Scotland.
Here's a desert camo pattern from Freedom Kilts too. I also outgrew this one and it now lives in Washington State
Pics are old and not too clear - hope they help.

I got mine from Flamingo Kilts. I absolutely love it and would not hesitate to recomend Flamingo.
I actually will be wearing this kilt to the Great Sand Dunes National Park this coming week, so I will have better pics week from tonight.

When is someone going to make one from the original vietnam ERDL pattern camo? Now that would be cool. **ERDL is what eventually became the woodland pattern, but is more green dominant with smaller color brushes that have shadow edges**

I own 2 of Steve's kilts (1 in Camo, 1 solid tan) and am very pleased with the work. As he's not only an advertiser, but also the forum owner and a nice guy (after a cup of coffee), I would definitely recommend you check out his work.

I know when I was in Afghanistan I wore a kilt once and then decided not to wear it again after that while in country. The looks I was getting from the locals, interpreters, and A.N.A disturbed me greatly.
Aside from all that I can also vouch for Steves' work and who doesn't think a nice camo kilt looks cool!?
