I think you're right, and it demonstrates how mainstream Ukiltwearing has become.
There are probably a great many photos of men wearing Ukilts at WalMart that nobody thinks worthy of mention or notice.
I work in the tourism industry in Southern California and I see, literally, tens of thousands of tourists every day, and it's very common to see Ukilts being worn and they don't get much in the way of attention any more. They did when Ukilts first appeared but no longer.
