Thanks Ryan, high praise from a man who owns a Britt Ferguson! (not that I'm comparing my work to Mr. Britt's )
As far as the stitching goes, I suppose being anal-retentive about crooked stitches helps.
This one has actually taken wing on it's way toward it's new owner already.
I'm starting another cutting this week as I've already got a few other trades in the works.
I'm also starting on a rather oddly coloured standard 'day' sporran that I think will be a hit with those who sport the more contemporary MUG in various camo patterns. Hopefully I'll be documenting it's construction this time. I'm just bad about taking pix while in the middle of projects.

I hope you like it. Please let me know when it gets there. I can't believe the US postal system doesn't have tracking for their regular international deliveries... or 'overseas' packages - as they call them

Well I just got this sporran from artificer. And these pics really don't it justice! Really excellant quality. The little details are superb. He even made me a belt for it ( of equal quality) as he figured I won't have one in brown. This sporran is certainly made to last. I really can't say enough! I'm going to wear it next week to a solo contest im in so I'll snap some pics for you all to see.
Thanks Artificer

I'm really thrilled that you like it. It's always nerve-wracking sending out a piece you made to someone new. I can't wait to see pix of it 'in action'.
Also...
I got the Argyll today! It turns out the USPS tried to deliver it on Sat. when I was at the Milwaukee Scottish Festival (talk about timing ) It fits very well and I'm anxiously awaiting an occasion to wear it.

Ahh Fantastic!! Gald it's there and fits... I must admit I read an earlier post by you, trying to get a sporran ready for the Scottish festival. And felt a bit of lump in my throught knowing that it hadn't gotten there yet.. So glad it got there. Better late then never!. Just in time for the next festival i suppose.

Oh, no worries about it not having arrived in time for the festival. It was 90*f that day- I was roasting in a short sleeved linen shirt! We actually had to leave after only a few hours as my son was wilting in the heat.
beloitpiper posted some very nice pix HERE that were shot by his father. 3 pix down in the first posting appears sporran #3-younger brother to yours (as well as several of the very nice XMarkers I got to meet).
Thanks again for such a great trade.
