Actually that's Canada day and Robert will be at the Highland Games in Embro. We're looking at arriving there before lunch and maybe having lunch with Robert. I dunno how he is staffed in his booth - maybe I'll get us all some haggis on a stick and we can eat in his booth. (Or a new favorite at festivals here - macaroni and cheese on a stick. <shudder> )

At these shows he's an old guy wearing leather, people tend to be freaked out and stay away in droves. And in Canada it's not macaroni and cheese, it's called KD (Kraft Dinner). If you're going to spend the time up here, you'd better learn the lingo (and wear a lumber jacket), eh!

I think you mean 'tartan day wear jacket' rather than lumber jacket!

Ok, the appointed time approacheth.....
Saturday night, July 3rd. 7:30 PM, The Queen's Head, Oakville. Come one come all...come for dinner, come for pleats, come for good times - whichever suits you best. We are in Canada now so even Grant's diabolical plot couldn't keep us from crossing the border. Now if we can just keep him from heaving rocks off the escarpement at us.... (had to buy a new windscreen last summer when we were here). Isadora needs to distract him.
We're looking forward to it.

It was nice to meet you and I really like the Army Green. Hope you can make it down tomorrow night. If not we hope to see you next time we're in town.
