weather forecast for Inverness

I just checked weather.com's predictions for Inverness for the next 10 days. The temperatures are supposed to be between 44-61 F (7-17 C).

Hey Jock, can we all come over to your place and soak up some of the coolness?

Yes, can we??? This past weekend it was 110F in El Paso, Texas and 112F in Phoenix, Arizona...and I had the pleasure of being in both places to experience it.

We're expecting a heat record this summer in Oslo, meaning a couple of weeks of sunshine and temperatures _maybe_ up to 30 C (86 F) for a couple of days. Btw, you can have the 'midnight' sun, too. Keeps me up all night...

In the mean time, I'm enjoying the spring, aka wet season.

It is 107 F (42 C) right now, and a little bit cooler than that in the back third of my aluminum bungalow.

We.ve had a temporary respite from the heat here in Va. Today's high temperature was around 78F, just over 25C. It was great for my senior golf groups past presidents tournament. If only I could have stopped hooking the ball. I don't know what's up with that, I've faded it all of my life. Only reason I came anywhere close to my average was that I had only 30 putts, with one 3 putt and one hole out from off the green.
