Hopefully the next time he comes over he can just relax and attend the games.

Just because he is in town, doesn't mean he must be dragged all over town!

When the Prince of Wales came over here, and made a hubbaboo,
    Oh, everybody turned out, you know, in gold and tinsel too;
But then the good old 69th didn't like these lords or peers--
They wouldn't give a damn for kings, the Irish Volunteers!
We love the land of Liberty, its laws we will revere,
"But the divil take nobility!" says the Irish Volunteer!

The Irish Fair and Music Festival will be in Irvine, California the weekend of June 19-20.

AKA Father's Day at the Fair. :-)

Och, who let all these Fenians on the board?

    Among our ancient mountains,
    And from our lovely vales,
    Oh! Let the prayer re-echo
God bless the Prince of Wales!

HRH set his own schedule, to maximize the impact of his visit. Compared to some other royal visits the nearly four days HRH spent in Greenville must have seemed almost like a week-end break.

    Thank You, Your Royal Highness

The numbers are in, and the attendance was up (for the fifth straight year) at this year's GREENVILLE SCOTTISH GAMES.

Over 20,000 people came through the gate on the Saturday of the games, up nearly 4,000 from last year's crowd, making Greenvile one of the most successful one day games in the Eastern United States.

A total of 547 pipers were present, and most marched in the parade on Friday and took part in the massed bands at the games on Saturday.

Although the date isn't official, it looks like the Greenville Games will probably take place next year on Saturday, May 19th.

    See you there!
