I am a WWII reenactor whose unit portrays the 7th Bn Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders; our reenacting fellows also include WWII Black Watch. Your friend has a most impressive collection of kit. I'm not as familiar with the Seaforths and Camerons as I am with the others, but I think you got it all correctly. Nice example of a South African manufacture helmet on the Cameron display--three holes in the rim for a desert havelock [neck covering cloth]. Very impressive. Another uniform he has, but I haven't seen put on display in many years is one of those worn in the Shirley Temple film "Wee Willie Winkie".
