I feel better about my zombie concerns now. My wife is like this except she won't let me carry a sword. Of course, I may use it, so it's a good thing.

"SWF seeks SWM who enjoys farming, zoo keeping and serious preparation for zombie invasion for friendship. Must be down to earth kind of guy."
How are these two criteria in the least bit compatible? I love this woman! If I weren't already married, I'd answer that one.
...oh, and I am one of those weirdos with a zombie invasion survival plan...

No... Not exactly. But close enough! It actually includes some time travel.

Yeah but Zombies move slow, you should outrun them long before the Delorean gets up to 88 Mph.

While I do think Zombie Land is an awesome movie, it pales in comparison to Shawn of the Dead. That movie is my zombie invasion plan, and the reason I bough a cricket bat/paddle, whatever you UK gents call the thing. Besides, who wouldn't want to hold up against zombies in a pub, and listening to Queen for long enough would want to make me kill people, let alone zombies.

That's not a bad idea at all. I loved Shawn of the Dead. "Let's go to the Winchester!" My plan is actually one that has been laid out carefully (after a festival and many shots of single malt.) My living history group, the Renaissance Scots, have the skills and tools to be completely self sufficient. We spent several drunken hours last year after the Elizabeth Celtic Festival discussing which part of the Rocky Mountains would be best to move to and why. We'd just run to the hills and live the Highland way until all the nasty beasties died off. So while not literally time travel, it's close enough!

First he has to fall off the toilet and hit his head so he can design the flux capacitor.
Is it still hip to be square?

Me too. It's just a rehash of my old Commie Invasion(ala Red Dawn)-turned Big Brother Is Taking Over-turned Al Quiada invasion-turned Gas Prices Are Way Too High So We're Starting A Revolution-turned Hillary Has A Shot At The Presidency-turned Now Palin Has A Shot- turned Hurricane Is Going To Blow Gulf Coast Oil All The Way To Nebraska survival plan.
Nothing new...except the name. I don't look forward to the quest for twinkies, but meeting Bill Murray would be pretty cool.
