Can I say "I knew you when?"
Victoria
Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Go to 48° 25' 54.09" N
123° 20' 39.52" W
Look for the street view labeled 1341 Pembroke St.
Look West.
And there I am on the sidewalk by the blue van walking to work one morning.
How cool is that?
I've looked all around the van and can't see you. Have they pixallated you out already? They visited my neighbourhood on garbage day, which of course looks great if you do the e-tour. My car was parked in front of my home but the plate was thankfully blurred out, which also helped hide the rust

He is still there -- you cannot do a close-up on him, though.

And you have the Nac Mac Feagles too - must be something in the air around here. I just finished reading the Tiffany Aching trilogy.
The street view view isn't perfect and it isn't always easy to navigate, but it is just incredible to be able to go and look at the houses where I have lived, where family are living - see an uncle doing his garden, that an elderly aunt has got a rail installed up the steps to the front door. Makes me feel a bit more connected to them somehow.
It's a bit worrying going to look at places where I have worked and finding only brownfield sites - was I that important to their survival?

Terry, we're only a ferry ride away. Let us all know if you decide to come to the island. FYI, our pipe band will be in the parade in Port Angeles on July 4th.

And a beautiful ferry ride it is, as I recall
