One thing to mention is that the sporran in question is an "Antique Black" sporran, and not an "Antique," black sporran. It's the cantle finish, not the age. You can get the cantle itself from a few places and have a sporran made up custom. Wool shearling would work well in this style, not to mention black calf hide, which tends to have longer hair, or even rabbit, which is the most common in the US. All I can say is beware the dreaded ****-sporran if you want something that will last more than a summer's worth of wear.

I actually like the cantle on that one better than the one in your op.
