When I make scones I normally use the Bisquick recipe. Not perfect but darn good. Just adjust your fillings. Favorites are crasins (AA, give these a try if you don't like raisins), semi-sweet chocolate chips, and white chocolate & apricots.
The can ones were ok. A bit of a chemical after tatse.
