The Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Community Ceilidh, May 2010
While seeking out photos for the thread Canada's Highland Regiments I came across some photos of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Community Ceilidh (held in May of this year) in celebration of their 100 years as an active unit.
I hope you enjoy this wee peek at the celebration of a renowned regiment that has served it's community & country for so many years
Here's to another 100!

2010 marks the centenary of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada, Vancouver's Infantry Regiment, established in Vancouver, B.C. on November 24, 1910 by members of the local Scottish community. For the last 100 years, The Seaforth Highlanders have served as volunteers, supporting the Canadian Forces Primary Reserve, in every major Canadian Forces overseas mission, including the two World Wars, as both peacekeepers and war fighters.
Members of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada participate in Highland Games, at the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Community Ceilidh, 29 May 2010, at the Burrard Street Armoury in Vancouver, B.C. The Ceilidh celebrated the first centenary of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada, and featured several Pipe and Drum band performances and Highland dancers.
