Yes, this site was very slow to load this morning, but getting better. Something was wrong.
Back to the issue with Paul: has there been any answer from Paul concerning the origin of these jackets?? Personally (look at my last post), I feel that Paul was not acting in bad faith, but was misled by his supplier, whomever that might be.
I have mixed emoptions about this whole issue......I can see Nick's view to a point, but I feel that this has been a common thread...attacking Paul, Lady Crystel, and Alexis Malcolm. Hmm, who's next??

Sorry, but can anyone remind me when I am meant to have attacked Lady Crystel?
My "attack" on Paul, by the way, was in response to it being brought to my attention by a senior XMTX member that he was attacking us. This brought to my attention that he had been publicly accusing us of rip-offs for several months. Is it not generally termed self-defence when one responds to someone else's pre-emptive attack?

Have I missed something? Where is this post?

I just ran quickly over the last 12 months of Nick's posts, and although I did not read any of them from start to finish, am familiar with a lot of them from prior readings. I did not find any specific negative references to Lady Chrystel, but someone doing a more thorough search might be able to find one.

My apologies... There was no mention of Lady Christel and it was in fact Alexis Malcolm of whom I was thinking. It was her you publicly accused of theft, not Lady Christel.
Why do you insist on justifying your agenda against the other sellers here? Either you have a problem with paul's advert or a problem with what he has said regarding your business. You can't change your mind half way through. To start some kind of school yard grade retaliation is really a sad indictment on the standards if your own business.
If there are problems in future, certainly make an attempt to contact the user with whom you have the problem. Put out a public request that they contact you..... Don't go dragging their name through the mud on some personal vendetta because you feel justified in making sure the entire bank of forum users finds out what your issue is. Act with integrity and good grace and sort these problems privately.

Nick, Danwell,
might I suggest any further interplay be conducted via PM?
Nick has aired his grievance, Paul has stated that he will contact the individual with web access to have the offending material removed and look into the situation.
Seems to me that there's little else to say right now. Arguing about the style of delivery of the grievance is irrelevant at this point.

Ladies and Gentlemen.
This thread has taken a very nasty turn.
It has been reported to the Staff as a possible violation of our rules. That matter will be dealt with in accordance with our policies and off the open forum.
I can assure you that the staff of this forum have been aware of the situation mentioned here for quite some time and can also assure you that most of what is happening is indeed being dealt with in places, and by means, other than the public sections of this forum.
There is a lot more happening with this matter than you see, or will hear of, here.
Please see posts #111 and #112 to this thread. When any member of X Marks has to resort to contacting another member publicly about a grievance because all other means have been exhausted it is unfortunate. Matters such as grievances between two members are not the public business of this forum. Grievances such as this are also not the business of the staff or the other members of this forum.
However, when any member accuses another of the things, and with the words, I have seen in the last three pages of this thread, then it very much becomes the business of the staff.
Due to three members of our staff away from the forum due to other commitments I find that I am the only member of staff on line at the moment. I will take this matter to the full staff and it will be dealt with off the public forum.
Until then, and due to the nature of what has been said, I am closing this thread to further public comment or discussion. Any further discussion of this matter will be handled in private.

Dear members of this Forum,
I'm happy Lady Chrystel was “found innocent” in this affair. Nevertheless...
Just to make things clear,
I happen to live with Lady Chrystel and we design together all of her custom made clothing.
Chrystel is a graduate from a prestigious tailors academy in Lyon, a city known world wide for it's silks and tailoring schools.
She has been designing wedding dresses, for example, since 1988.
She is an artist and a hard working, generous person.
I can guaranty that her imagination is such that she really doesn't need to steel any idea from anyone. Actually she could work as an advisor for new lines and trends for any big Highland wear company.
Next Monday, she shall be presenting her new website. I will advise the owner of X Marks the Scot forum of the new link to her web site so you can check it out.
Best,
Robert .
