For me, there is much more than "price" involved when I go kilt shopping. I seek "value."

I've also learned to deal direct with a kiltmaker rather than a middleman company that sends the order on to a, usually nameless, kiltmaker. Too many tales of woe from dealing with middlemen have made this board over the years - sadly often when a deadline for wedding is missed.

Ya pays your money and ya takes your chances - but ya chances be better dealing direct with the person doing the sewing. And, don't forget to check if they're a full time kiltmaker or a part-time kiltmaker. Full time kiltmaker gonna get your kilt to you sooner almost always.
