    I hope it is unique and you get it made. I'd love to do that myself and have designed a tartan, but going past that is cost-prohibitive for my at present. It would be really cool to have a tartan of my own, if only to confuse people who think they recognize it.
    The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

    I was starting to price out a custom weave its gonna be very pricey. I may get the fabric and wear it as a great kilt and eventualy save to have it tailored into a kilt. A few places had a min order of like 30 yards I'd have to talk my father into wearing a kilt too and then have one made for every member of the family on all sides to afford that much fabric.

    Tiny, D C Dalgleish do custom weaves in a run of 4 yards. If you talk to Matt at the Scottish Tartans Museum he maybe able to help you organise a small run for a reasonable price
