    Top Shot

    Greetings all,

There is a competition/reality show on the History Channel called Top Shot which pits marksmen against each other using a variety of weapons from (thus far) a Baretta pistol, to WWI/WWII era rifles, to a long bow. One of the competitors is Iain Harrison from Britain who is a veteran of, I believe, the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
On to the part the matters.
On this past episode he was shown packing up his gear in preparation for an elimination challenge and I noticed a grey digital camoflage SportKilt in his possession. He has not yet worn it and, since he won the challenge, he will be around for a while longer so we can only hope.

I've been following this show, though I did not notice the kilt. It's interesting the dynamics of the show, and I will be watching it all the way through.

I too have enjoyed the episodes that I've seen. What a nice thing that would be, normalizing shooting sports and kilts all at the same time!

    peacekeeper83 & MacMillan's son,

It caught me by surprise. I noticed the digital camoflage and then I saw the yellow shield badge of SportKilt and scrambled to hit the rewind button on my remote. My wife thought it was rather groovy as well.

I saw that last night as well, thought it was pretty cool. That was a crazy elimination challenge they had to win as well. I do not think I would have done very well on that one.

    Woot22,

Jim, the older guy, was pretty much screwed on that one. The red and blue that he hit together were swinging in the same pattern the whole time. The only way he could have made it was to use his only spare round to hit the pole and arrest the motion of the red plate so that it would get out of rhythm with the blue one. That would have been a very difficult shot to make even without a time limit.

I was thinking that too. They did seem to be in unison. He took it well though.

Great show, one of my favorites on tv. My son and I saw the kilt and thought that was pretty cool too.

Have been watching this one also, and was pleasantly surprised when I saw that kilt. Hope he does wear it at least once during the show.

I think he had it on during the first show. They were sitting in the residence the first day they arrived. As the camera panned the group I thought I saw someone sitting in a chair in what looked like a camo kilt. If you have a chance to see the first show check it out. I just thought I was seeing things. I did not catch the show last night.

    Mike
