Carolina on my mind - Kllted Vacation

[FONT="Comic Sans MS"][SIZE="2"]Woo Hoo! Two more days and I’m off to Carolina for nine days. Looking forward to the July 4th weekend in Asheville. Tartan Hiker has me marching the Montreat July 4th parade, doing some mountain hiking and checking out some of the micro breweries.

Then I head to Franklin to meet Matt Newsome and visit the Scottish Tartans Museum. Afterwards, I head out for the top of Grandfathers Mountain to camp out during the largest Highland Games gathering this side of the pond. I’ll be taking my recently acquired book, Highland Heritage by Celeste Ray to read during the quiet times.

Sounds like a great trip. I'm dying to get down to the STM.
