News from Edinburgh is that the Mighty Men tartan has been registered.
The illustration on the Scottish Register of Tartans website is somewhat different from the image I obtained from Kilts 4 Africa. It would be interesting to see it woven.
For that I will probably have to wait until the new year, more’s the pity.
The registration notes state:

Restrictions: Yes. Anyone may wear this tartan.
This tartan however is under licence to Tartans 4 Africa and can only be woven by them. Copyright pending!
Registration notes: This Tartan has been designed in honour of Mighty Men who stand united in Christ. Mighty Men is a movement that was started by Mr Angus Buchan from Shalom Ministries in South Africa, and which is now spreading around the world. This tartan has the approval of Shalom Ministries.
