Some poor misguided soul is going to show up to a Highland Games somewhere wearing that, and not realize that everyone is laughing at him, and not with him...

Looks like a towel I used to have for swanning around the backyard spa area, a least mine had velcro instead of the buckle

I know you're all having fun with this but you do realize that it's intended for women and not a man's kilt, right?

    I mean, Lucky magazine isn't exactly a men's publication...

Uh... Given the fact that it was described as a kilt, I just assumed... I personally had no clue. But I don't pay any attention to pop media.

It's hard to believe that this is actually real. So sad. Or is it just hilarious?

If it isn't a history, fishing, hunting, gun, motorcycle, hotrod, rodeo, or travel related magazine then I don't read it! (thanks for the heads up)

Women's or men's, it's still described as a kilt & as such is an abomination!

It seems that Tommy has been dabbling with kilts since 2004.

And a direct descendant of Burns as well. So on the one hand he should have some idea of culture and heritage and on the other Burns never wore a kilt.

    Regards

    Seconded!!
And by the way you're right, it looks like a tablecloth with a leather strap attached to it.

No, but Burns wrote about Highland dress in several of his works, at least one unfit to reproduce here.

entered, the sale of that thing would help provide funds for a real kilt
