Hamish Centennial Kilt Installment #3
Hi all,
I haven't had Internet for the past week or so, but I've been working on Hamish's kilt. Here's an update with a few pics:
We took the ferry from Thorlakshofn in South Iceland to the town of Vestmannaeyjar on the island of Heimaey. The ferry trip lasts four hours, so I got quite a lot done on the kilt despite a stretch of really rough seas. In this first pic, I'm cutting out the pleats while we're still at the dock before we set sail.

Shortly after the photo above, I had to take a break, because we were crashing up and down over big seas, and I had to hang onto the window frame with both hands to keep from sliding around!
