Smashin' pictures Ern. It's great when we can all meet up isn't it?
Cheers.

Seemed like there was the usual over-abundance of fairies, guys toting around big fake swords, blue facepaint, knee-high moccasins, bodice daggers, etc. I did see two teenage girls wearing what appeared to be fake fur "cat helmets"?(don't know quite else how to describe them) with big pointy ears. Hmmm...Clan Chattan devotees, perhaps?

Thanks, Ern. I can die in peace now.
I saw her Sunday marshalling for the parade of Tartans with her clan. She had her warpaint on, but was otherwise in female highland attire.
We have our own faeries in the campground, aged about 3 to over 50, who go on a faery walk on Saturday night, giving blessings and sprinkling fairy dust on the fortunate. It's a really sweet custom, and the Faery Qeen adopted my 17 y/o daughter into the Faeries after a first conversation. Quite an honor!

I think I've seen the "cat helmet" of which you speak at the bookstore, recently. Now I'm trying to figure out what they're called to find them on Google.

I don't think she would have thought so.
