What a great video! Thanks for posting it.
They mention a their museum in Leith. That makes another reason to go there the next time I'm in Edinburgh, the great pipemaker Sinclair being in Leith also.
I have four old Highland Dress catalogues from Andersons. I wonder if it's the same firm, or at least the same family.
The oldest says
The Scottish National Dress
Fifth Edition
William Anderson & Sons LTD
14-16 George Street, Edinburgh, 2
and
155 Hope Street, Glasgow, C. 2
By Appointment To His Late Majesty
King George V
Making it around 1936.
The other three are from the 1950's and only mention the Edinburgh address.
