3rd Anniversary @ Xmarks
Today, ‘marks’ my third year anniversary posting at XMarks. At the 2003 Grandfather Mountain Games I picked up a T shirt which read X Marks the Scot. When I got home I searched the internet with ‘X Marks the Scot’ and arrived here.
Seen a lot of change. Members come and go. In my opinion it is the best source of information on all things; kilts and tartans. Most importantly for me is the friends I’ve made here. So, here’s to you, buds!

Well done Mael. I started here in the same month and year too, no idea of the exact date though. I am delighted to have made your, Internet, acquaintance.

Your presence and posts are greatly appreciated; the site's all the better for them. Glad to have made your (all-too-brief) acquaintance in person at Grandfather Mountain.
Happy anniversary!

If you would like to know the day and month of your anniversary you can click on your name of any post. This will take you to your public profile.
In the upper right corner you will find a small box titled 'mini statistics'. There you will find the full day, month and year that you registered as a member
Jock, you beat Mael by a couple of days. You registered on the 6th of July. Mael on the 24th.

Good gracious! Did I? Thank you Steve. I hope Mael won't mind me Hijacking his thread for a wee while, but I would like to say this.
In the last three years I have "met" some wonderful people here, some that I don't "see" any more, but remembered with a smile when old threads are resurrected, but I would like to think that they lurk here every now and then and I really have had a huge amount of fun here. Thank you every one.
