Thank you everyone for your kind welcome to 'No.100', and for your Good Wishes. Although I learned yesterday that I will be called for surgery in about two weeks, I actually feel brighter and more alert than I have for about nine months, but I still have most of the inconvenience of the symptoms I had when diagnosed in January - I guess I am just learning to live with them! The surgery should put an end to those, hopefully.
To answer two of your questions:
Charlie, Riverkilt is correct; some of my earlier acquisitions no longer fit me - the Utilikilts and some others, for example, have no means of waist adjustment. As we know, some kilts shrink when simply hanging in our wardrobes (
), so I have no alternative but to 'archive' them when that happens!
And to Mike, the sporran is far from new, is quite a favourite of mine and has been in the 'sporran collection' for several years. It came from www.leathersporrans.co.uk in Scotland.
Take care,
Ham.
