In need of help
I am new here and i have had a kilt and sparron for yrs now. I am trying to trace the clan affiliation with this kilt and sparron. It was purchased in Lossiemouth and sent to me in the USA. The sparron is stamped and the kilt is labled. Sparron is stamped 1939 Glasgow, Peter Henderson, The Kilt its self is dated 1951. size 6, height 5'3 to 5'4 waste 32" breech 69"THCG. Gordon and Sons LTD. Glasgow. If any one has any information to this kilt and decades it represents please feel free to responde to my posting here. And you all have a great forum lots of information. I can post pics in here of the kilt and sparron if i ever figure out how. TY again

The kilt sounds like an MOD kilt. If that is the case, it should say on the tag what tartan or regiment it is. I have 2 regimental kilts and they both have that information inside. That might be a good place to start.

Yes it sounds like an old army kilt. If you can give us any more information from the label, or better still pictures, then we'll be glad to help. By the way the breech size seems very large ?
The Kilt is my delight !
