Hello everyone! Just signed up and I am really glad to be here. I am an occasional wearer of a kilt (2-3 times a month). I got hooked the moment I wore it the first time. I had a question about cantles. I am making my own dress sporran, but I am having trouble finding a supplier of cantles. I have seen a couple of threads on here about this, but nothing definite. I know about Clanart, but they never answer my e-mails so I don't want to do business with them. Anyone know of any place that sells JUST the cantle? The Kilted

Hello and welcome from Houston, TX! You may have luck on eBay. A few have been posted there in the past.
Lythgoe has a good selection of cantles here: http://lythgoesporrans.webs.com/sporrancantles.htm Bugpiper on eBay sometimes has vintage cantles, but mostly regimental. What sort of cantle are you thinking of?
