Girls kilt

Hiya,

my aunt is going up north for a bikers meet in a few months - something in the glen? She is looking for an inexpensive girls kilt- but not a full on one- just like a mini version. Anyone got any ideas for a place to get one? We are Glasgow based. My boyfriend used Houstons in Paisley for his- does anyone know if they do these versions? Or suggest another place?

I bought an off-the-rack kilted skirt from Strathmore for my lass and it is nice, light, worsted wool, for a very good price. Their online commerce is a bit clunky but they were still easy to deal with. Located in Forfar, but they'll ship to Glasgow, no problem.

You might try any place they sell school uniforms. My wife got a nice skirt at a reasonable price right off the rack, and they tend to have lots of sizes and a variety of tartans.
