They're not exactly a matched pair, but then again, I can't afford to be too picky.
I am sure my wife would agree with yours.

Right now, I am not in need of anything. Right this minute I can't think of anything I want. But, before you respond - I have 2 "games" events I am going to in September, so..... I hope Stinky (the skunk sporran) can hold a lot of notes!!!
OK, maybe a charcoal tweed jacket/coat would be nice. Goes with the Shepherd tartan!!!

Keltoi has a sale on Campbell tartans for August. I am adjusting the books, and waiting on a contract. If it comes in on time, I want a Campbell Dress Modern kilt.

Also thanks to this thread, I absolutely must get a Harris Tweed kilt jacket & vest, in this color.

Ordered both just this morning from the Scottish Tartans Museum gift shop.

On a more casual note, 2 new Stillwater standard kilts arrived yesterday: One in Nightstalker (have one already, it's the one I'm wearing in my Facebook avatar pic) and one in Leatherneck (I was an enlisted Marine before I fell to the Dark Side and got an Army commission).
It's all your fault, Forum members. Y'all are starting to cost me some real money here. I didn't know about Ferguson Britt sporrans until I read this thread, much less how extensive the good stuff available at the STM Gift Shop was as I hadn't looked there for a couple of years or more. Now I've just gone and ordered a second FB sporran -- all leather since, this being the San Francisco Bay Area, I risk being forced to slaughter a lynch mob if some folk see me wearing a fur sporran. 'Specially one from an animal that can't even be raised/farmed in captivity but must be harvested from The Wild. (Yes, I'm still getting the beaver anyway, it will be our little secret, okay?)

And as soon as I get my girlfriend to help me with measurements this weekend, I'm ordering two new wool tartan kilts from New House Highland. I knew of Matt Newsome already via albanach.org and as the director of the Scottish Tartans Museum, but I didn't know he was also a kilt maker until I began pursuing leads from this thread.

    My list...

    It goes something like this:

#1. A US Army Tartan Kilt
#2. A custom made formal doublet...I think I'm making this myself of midnight blue silk velvet with gold lozenge type buttons and trim. I already have some of the materials to make this, but I've already got a couple of projects in the works...so this is on the back burner at present
#3. A reproduction Civil War NCO/Officer belt to wear as a kilt belt
#4. Tartan hose to go with #1!
#5. A nice Sgian Dubh that is functional and beautiful...Rab Gordon or similar with a nice sharp blade
#6. A black Baretha Argyll Jacket and vest combo
#7. Brown leathers: Ferguson Britt Sporran with a hexagonal type cantle, brown belt with Tyger forge buckle, brown ghille brogues or standard brogues
#8. A nice olive/tan/brown/grey tweed jacket and vest combo
#9. Afghanistan Campaign Tartan casual kilt
and because I can't leave the list at 9 items
#10. A pair of diced hose
