Hamish is now up and walking unaided. He has continued to improve to the point that, other than low energy and having to move carefully, he is pretty much himself. I'm to collect him from the hospital and deliver him to the convalescent home (Crumby Towers, in his words) tomorrow morning.
Now that we've reached this point, I'm proposing to slow down on the reports, as much to give you all a rest as anything.

On my own behalf, I'd like to express my thanks and gratitude for all the messages of support and good wishes, no only for Hamish, but also to myself.

Thank you very much indeed. It really does make a difference.

					Wonderful news!
I'm glad to hear that Hamish is making such a speedy recovery. I sincerely hope is time at "Crumby Towers" isn't as long (or crumby) as expected.

 Thank you, Jim.

Jim, thanks so much for your good office as the Faithful Friend. Keep Hamish reminded that we're all thinking of him, and have a rest yourself.

Jim, This is the best possible news. Hamish is a remarkable man and it's clear from what you say that his sense of humour has emerged intact!

I have no idea what Crumby towers is like but I'm quite sure it will be a more colourful place for the next two weeks.

Best wishes to both Hamish and yourself Jim, and may Ham's pleats once again be swinging with full force very soon,

Thanks for the update, Jim.Hamish will have to endure Crummy Towers for a bit, but I am sure he will keep things lively there himself.
Holding thumbs for the biopsy results.
