Such a warm welcome... Thanks all. My Comfy Kilt showed up this afternoon, of course, 5 minutes before I had to head out of town for the day... But once I got home, I just HAD to rip it from its packaging. Of course, my first kilt, modeled for my wife and... She started laughing. But, she got over it. First trip out of the house (it was dark and just to the mailbox!), my neighbor lady thought it was neat. I have to admit, I could have ordered the XL and been fine. The XXL is a tad big for even my overgrown self.
I can hardly wait to home from work tomorrow...

Welcome from northern PA. My first kilt was a Sport Kilt in March 2009. Now it's gone, but the kilt bug bit. I now have 3 USA Casual kilts (made to measure) a wool House of Edgar 8 yarder and my ,pride and joy, Clan Claus wool kilt.
The Sport Kilt will be just the beginning. I drive our RV wearing one of my USAKilts. The comfortable way to drive for 5 days in a row back to PA.

Not a great pic, but you get the idea! It was windy, and I was sure the neighbors would get a show... But didn't happen. I'm not fat, I'm "Gravitationally Enhanced", and the tanline at the ankles are a simple result of not being able to wear sandals at work...
Tip of the Sierra Nevada BigFoot Ale to all!

Hello zjrog,
Welcome to XMarks from the other side of the Atlantic in Norfolk, England.
When asked about my waistline, I tell people that it is a fashion thing -
"Men are wearing their chests lower this year."
