    Sounds like a good idea. Warm bee's wax can get a little sticky. And then, there's the potential that it could attract bears...

    Cheap paint works well also. It has the added advantage allowing you to color code your stock as to what year it was cut.

    I'd just spill the paint on the floor.

    I also like the wood glue because I like pealing it off my skin afterward to honor my ancient reptilian ancestors.

    It was a mugly thing of me to do, Hawk.

    And I see that in the article Dale linked to, it was called a boot at one time.

    I retract my boot statement and say, it's probably better than drinking from your moccasin... Water moccasins?
