If I may...I understand that in public or when not with the kilted the question can be obnoxious and down-right rude (an unforgivable sin in the South.) But doesn't this fall in the category of family business as in the kilted kinship we all (most of us anyway) feel. Isn't that the point of a forum like this? My point is...Aren't there questions you can ask within the "family" that an outsider would be considered rude for asking?
And while I'm on my soapbox... Don't we all secretly wear kilts because it's fun? It's fun to fool around with societal norms. It's fun to see the looks and be asked the questions. It's fun to be noticed. IT'S FUN TO WEAR A KILT. So let's have a little fun on our forum and in our family. Answer the question...don't answer the question...I care as much about whether you answer the question as I do about what you wear under your kilt.
So as not to look hypocritical...I have answered the question, but my answer is none of your darn business.![]()
