I have to start to think that the Steampunk thing has had it's 15 minutes and we should be returning to reality just as soon as we determine what reality is....
...or do we have to wait until Oprah or the crew from The View show up in Steampunk outfits...?
One of the lasses that threw at Pleasanton...tiny little gal from Texas, has a steampunk photo set on her Facebook page and I personally think she looks drop-dead gorgeous.
While I probably would never spend the money and time to do it, I enjoy seeing the pictures.
Surely the fellow who tells renfaire folks he is from the future is not so unsympathetic to sci-fi costumes! Don't know your age, but my 79 year old dad enjoys sci-fi cons quite a bit!
