My current screen saver, Barb. Super photo: no kilts to be seen but overflowing with Highland emotion.

When I was in university 30 years ago, I saw an advert somewhere for NASA's "Atlas of Mars" -- displaying as much of the planet as they had photography to cover. Some of it (quite a lot of it, in fact) is pretty large-scale, low detail photography -- but I've held onto that book ever since.

I'd go just for the adventure.

Absolutely amazing! Great photos. Great contrast between the human form with pipes and the exotic machines. Barb you lead the most amazing life. Thank you.

I'm late to the party again, but I'll add that just about everybody here wants to be you! Thanks for everything you've done.

We had to wait about an hour for the State Police to arrive to stop traffic and escort the rovers across the road, and cars just zoomed on by while we were waiting. I guess they thought the rovers were some kind of uninteresting Winnebago (although this kind of new-generation Moon rover, where the astronauts actually live inside the rover and go from place to place, has been nicknamed the "Lunabago"....hee hee)...Anyway - here's a pic of one of those cars that just sped on by.

Had I been driving down the road and seen vehicles such as these, I would have stopped, backed up, exited my vehicle and proceeded to ask the operator about every detail of the vehicle. I would have pulled my truck across the road to stop traffic. I have done it before and would again with no hesitation. Great pics, Barb. As usual.
