    Simple Bone Kilt pin

    Bone and pet fence flag.

Carve out the bone, sharpen and shape the wire.

Cut out with a scroll saw and finished with a pocket knife. Sanded with 400, then polished with Automotive rubbing and polishing compound.

Is that one of those sterile bones for dogs? I'm guessing so since you also have a flag from an invisible fence. What did you use to carve? Can we get larger shots of the "pin" attachment?

This is a dog bone. I have some deer and elk that I scavage from the desert as well.

I don't have a dog fence but bought a handfull of flags just for the wire. It makes good fret wire for Cigar box guitars, and Kalimba tines.

Two part epoxy to hold the wire to the bone.
