OOOOhhhhhh, Although this is the first that I have heard of this "version", I will have to start looking for this. Thanks for the information.

Not to change the subject, but why is Molson adding "flavor" to their beer. The flavoring for Molson beer is manufactured by a company formerly known as Quest. They were in Owings Mills Md before the company that bought them moved them out of the area. Why does beer have to be flavored?

Presumably the 'flavour' is either a hop or malt based/flavoured extract. My guess is that it allows them to actually brew the beer using cheaper raw materials and then 'beer it up' after the cheaper garbage ferments.

It could be worse, it could always be bud.

I'm pretty sure they were serving Kilkenny at the Sterling RennFaire this summer....

Looking forward to the Guiness Foreign Extra. That special 250th anniversary stuff they came up with in '09 was rather hideous - like extra fizzy stout!

It's second only to the Mead of Poetry from the blood of Kvasir. None of the same attributes, but near as tasty.

Boring. There's far too many GOOD stouts being brewed to drink Guinness. Too metallic and empty.

So Thursday I went to the package store and found Guiness Foreign Extra. I must say while I do enjoy a fair amount of "regular" Guinness-found in the U.S. The Foregin Extra was MIGHTY good. Not as Heavy, full of flavor, strong finish. One of the guys at the store goes "Excellent choice....You can tell the difference in the water used to make the brew". I'll have to agree, you could tell a difference, either in taste or the 7.5% alcohol by volume. either way....I Highly recommend it!
