    New casual shoes

Just bought a pair of these shoes http://www.skechers.com/shoes-and-cl...t_-_pixel/choc to wear casually with my kilts. When outdoors if it is not an area that I feel comfortable wearing dress shoes, or if I'm out tramping around at the park or the games I thought that these would be a good alternative to my hiking boots. From the pictures I've seen posted of those in Scotland enjoying the outdoors these shoes look like they would fit in nicely. What do you all think of them?

They look like they'll fit the bill... but I'd like to see a pic of you wearing them with a kilt to confirm the hypotheses

I'm on my second pair of those particular shoes. You're right, they are excellent for casual wear outdoors--and the price is right. I wear mine to events like Highland Festivals and Renaissance Faires.

Looks like those shoes would fit the bill perfectly!

I also recently got some casual shoes for that same purpose. I went with the Dockers Shelter Casual shoes. Got them from Academy for about $55. They are also available in blackk.

Well, as a matter of fact, since my Tewksbury arrived last evening at the post office I'll be getting a couple of pictures together and will definately be wearing the new shoes too.

For casual, you picked a great shoe. I have a similar shoe, almost to the "T", by Dr. Scholl. Mine are extremely comfortable.

    Yes, get that pic up!

I too wear something close to these! When out and about the yard/woods/or the games I'm more concerned with comfort than looks on me feet. {Besides I got good look'in legs}he-he-he-he!

I've got a pair that looks exactly like those Skechers at the link. I've worn 'em to festivals and Ren Fairs with my kilt. They look just fine, no negative comments from anyone.
