I have a Gordon Highlanders that I got from be da veva here on xmarks - is a 38" and I take a 37. It is a little big but I have a belt that I pull snug. Keeps it right in place. It never wrinkles even after a long drive. It is thick. I wear it in all weather and it is not too hot in summer. It is fantastic. I would not hesitate to get another. The repro kilt socks are really really good too. Go for it!
Now that I think about it my photo here is me wearing that very garment.
